Media Campaign on Environment and Health Issues

BEDO is one of the leading NGOs who has multi-media experiences both as producer and user. Over last five years it addressed the urban environment and health issues in different ways like-

• Produced a film of 3 minutes duration on Rickshaw Drivers Training Program in Dhaka City with financial assistance of UN ESCAP for awareness raising on road safety. The film was telecasted through BTV and ATN several times during 1998-99.
• Produced a film of 3 minutes duration on Fixing of Reflectors to the rickshaws plying in Dhaka City with financial assistance of National Road Safety Council of Bangladesh for awareness raising on road safety. The film was telecasted through BTV and ATN several times during 2000-2001.
• Produced 6 TV spots of 40 seconds duration on environmental development and health issues under Public Information and Awareness Campaign of DIFPP. The spots were telecasted through ETV and ATN Bangla several times in 2000.
• Produced 4 Radio spots of 45 seconds duration on environmental development and health issues under Public Information and Awareness Campaign of DIFPP. The spots were broadcasted through Bangladesh Radio several times in 2000.
• Produced a stage program of 45 minutes duration on environmental development and health issues under Public Information and Awareness Campaign of DIFPP. The program was telecasted through various cable networks in the country in 2001.
• Produced a good number of posters, stickers and handbills on environmental development and health issues under DIFPP and distributed among general mass during 1999-2001.
• Produced a good number of billboard and bell-sign on environmental development and health issues under DIFPP and displayed at different locations of Dhaka city during 2000-01.
• Produced a good number of newspaper ad on environmental development and health issues under DIFPP and published through different popular dailies in 2000.
• Produced an AIDS song on HIV prevalence and prevention for UNFPA, Dhaka in November 2002 for their use in world HIV/AIDS campaign through TVs and Radio.
• Produced a documentary film based on micro credit program of BEDO in 2006.
• Produced a documentary TV play based on ultra-poor program of BEDO
