ENRICH Program
The ENRICH is an endeavour aimed at restoring poor people’s confidence unto themselves and flowering of their innate abilities to achieve a life of human dignity and freedom. The programme is helping the people’s inherent abilities to flourish so that they are endowed with the key to their progress to that end. With renewed confidence and hope, the poor, then, move ahead and break free from the shackles of multidimensional poverty and indignity and achieve living standards characterized by human freedom and dignity, along with material uplift.ENRICH is a purpose or intention to abate poverty not only through income creation but through a holistic way targeting other crucial aspects of human life including health, nutrition, education, youth development, special savings, development (sanitization, IGA Training) etc. Ideal enrich house to beautify the house with forest, fruit & flower trees. Ward committees are formed by the elected representatives of the union parishad & eminent persons of the community and ward coordination meetings are organized to solve various problems. In Chatiangram & Boalia unions there are a large number of people who are deprived of the education. BEDO, a non-governmental development organization, has been implementing ENRICH program in Chatiangram union of Adamdighiupazilla of Bogura and in Boalia union of Naogaon Sadar Upazilla of Naogaon since 2014.

Static Clinic
BEDO has 2 unit offices at Boalia Union and two Unit Offices Chhatiangram Union. Under ENRICH Program every unit Office runs Static Clinic in average 24 days in a month. Here EHO (ENRICH Health Officer, passed 4 years of diploma from any registered government medical institute) attend patients coming from various aspects of the respected union.

Satellite Clinic
The field work is supervised by health officer. The health officer conduct static clinics in the ENRICH office every day to attend to patients, usually advised by health visitors to go there. For patients needing further treatment are advised to visit the satellite clinics held once a week in each ward, with MBBS doctors attending to patients there. There is also referral arrangement with both public and private hospitals and clinics for the patients who need specialized medical services. Costs are substantially subsidized; and for the very poor, services are provided free of cost.

Water and Sanitation:
Sanitation is needed to have a healthy life about which people in the rural areas are not aware of which makes them vulnerable to various diseases. Besides, poor financial conditions also responsible for not having clean sanitation even if they want it. The unhygienic sanitation is mainly responsible for transmitting various diseases in rural areas. Under ENRICH, BEDO has taken steps to improve the sanitation conditions of the rural people. BEDO works to ensure 100% hygienic sanitation facilities in its working area by distributing free materials for building toilet. The health volunteers of BEDO-ENRICH Program regularly visit the working areas to raise awareness among rural people who have no knowledge about sanitation & personal hygiene. Under this program, a total of 400 sets of sanitary latrines have been constructed in each Boalia Chhatiangram union.
Special savings
Women headed family or family containing physically/ mentally unable children who are ultra poor, ENRICH provides special savings activity. In this activity the family saves money at own bank account (Maximum 20,000) in the duration of 2 years. After 2 years PKSF gives the same amount of matching money to that family. With this total money the family can involve themselves to any income generating activities.

Education support center
ENRICH program plays a very important role in our primary education system. BEDO runs 57 education support centers in different areas in both Boalia & Chhatiangram union through this program. By running these support center BEDO wants to lower the number of “drop out students” from different primary schools of the respected areas.
This education support centers run by teachers who lives in the respective unions. Most of the teachers are students or housewives. They can earn their monthly pocket money by working here and students gets help for thier educational financial support.

Others Activities
International Elderly Day:
October 1 is International Veterans Day. The day is being celebrated in Bangladesh with due dignity like other countries of the world keeping in view the theme of “Digital Equity for All Ages”. On the occasion of the day, a rally and discussion meeting was organized in Chhatiangram union of Adamdighi upazila of Bogra district with the participation of senior ward and union committee members under “Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and Bedo’s” Elderly Program”.
National Youth Day:
“Skilled Youth Prosperous Country, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh”. Keeping in view the theme “Skilled Youth Prosperous Country, Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh”. BEDO Enrich Program celebrates National Youth Day-2021 keeping the theme in mind. A colorful rally and discussion meeting was organized. The rally started from Prabin Samaj Kendra and ended at Union Parishad Chattar after touring different areas.
Health Camp (Eye):
The BEDO and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), one of the non-governmental development organizations in Naogaon district, is successfully implementing the ENRICH program in Boalia in Sadar upazila of Naogaon district and Chhatiangram union in Adamdighi upazila of Bogra district. The main objective of the program is to establish human dignity among the extremely backward people. Diseases are the main obstacle in increasing the wealth and capacity of the target population. In order to overcome this obstacle, under the health care and nutrition program of ENRICH program, General Health Camp (Eye) was organized on 12 and 20 January 2022 at BEDO ENRICH program in Chhatiangram and Boalia Union. The camp was attended by Union Parishad Chairman and members, Md. Atowar Hossain, Eligible Director of the organization, Md. Billal Hossain, Program Officer of SEIP Project of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), Sheikh Md. Mohaymenul Haque, General Manager (Program) BEDO, Program Coordinator and all officers of the Prosperity Program.
Treatment provided by Dr. Apurba Biswas Rakhal,
Medical officer. Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital Naogaon.
The camp provides free medical care as well as essential medicines.
A total of 401 patients were treated in the camp by the two unions
National Children’s Day:
“Bangabandhu’s birthday pledge, all children have equal rights.” With this theme in mind, the whole of Bangladesh is celebrating “National Children’s Day” and the 102nd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Following this, BEDO and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), one of the non-governmental development organizations in Naogaon district, jointly celebrated “National Children’s Day”.
Elderly program:
Students of the Education Support Center under the ENRICH Program and members of the Youth Society for Development and Senior Citizens in Chhatiangram Union under the Livelihood Development Program.

Scholarship:
Today, on 14th August 2022, checks were distributed among 11 meritorious students of the loan program members of private development organization BEDO under the scholarship program of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF). Additional Deputy Commissioner of Naogaon district Mr. Md. Shihab Raihan was present as a guest in the said check giving ceremony.
