BEDO General Hospital: Although health care is one of the five basic needs of human being, the rural poor people don’t have required access to this because of their financial constrain and unavailability of hospital in rural areas. BEDO has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with rural people to ensure access to basic health care facilities. This is why BEDO established BEDO General Hospital in 2008 near Bypass Road, Boalia, Naogaon.
Facility:The following facilities are available in BEDO General Hospital-
Indoor Facility:
- Executes all types of operations by skilled and experienced surgeons
- Provides other medical services by skilled diploma nurses and staff nurses
- Patients can take treatment from hospital under the supervision and guidance of MBBS doctors along with the paramedic staff
- The Previous eight (08) bed is now increased to ten(10).
Objectives:
- Provide proper treatment to the rural areas people

- Ensure normal delivery by female doctor at a low cost.

BEDO Life:BEDO General Hospital recently started a project names BEDO Life. Medical services are provided here at low cost by providing health cards to the loanee member. Medical services are provided here in the form of member. Medical services are provided here in the form of package. Such as BP measurement, pulse measurement, BMI weight, blood sugar measurement and referral treatment.

In order to implement Essential Healthcare Program in a greater periphery and render low cost and modern healthcare facilities to the poor and underprivileged people of Naogaon district, BEDO has established a general hospital in Boalia, Naogaon with the financial assistance of Government of Japan and its own fund in 2008.
The inaugural ceremony of BEDO General Hospital (BGH) was held on 1st April 2009. His Excellency Masayuki Inoue, Ambassador of Japan, was present as Chief Guest. Mr. M. A. Jalil, Member of Parliament was present as Guest of Honor. Prof. Anisul Haque, Pro-VC of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Mr. Md. Ahsan Habib Talukder, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Ashaque Husain, Civil Surgeon and Mr. Aminul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police of Naogaon district, Dr. Jasim Uddin, General Manager of PKSF and Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo, former President of FBCCI, were present as Special Guests.
BGH is equipped with Pathological lab, Ultra-sonogram, ECG & Operation Theater with necessary manpower such as Medical Officers, Nurses, Paramedic-cum-Counselor, Lab Technician and support staffs.

Free Medical Camp on the occasion of National Mourning Day
A free medical camp was organized at BEDO General Hospital on the occasion of the 47th martyrdom anniversary and mourning day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
