Training and Demonstration under MFMSFP

All members or their husbands or guardians were imparted 2 trainings on crop, 1 training on non-crop and 1 training on social issues during the project period. Branch Manager, Field Officer, Technical Officer, Upazila Livestock Officer and Upazila Fisheries Officer facilitated the training. Details of training under this project were as under:

Demonstration

Under MFMSF project new agricultural technology and new varieties of crops were demonstrated among the farmers in the field so that they can gain practical experience on these field. Under this project the following results were demonstrated:

Advocacy Seminar at BEDO Healthcare Center
An Advocacy Seminar was held at the conference room of BEDO Healthcare Center on 15 January 2009. The main purpose of holding the seminar was to inform the inhabitants of Naogaon about the facilities and different aspects of BEDO Healthcare Center.

The seminar was presided over by Md. Abdul Bari, the Executive Director of BEDO. Cross section of people of Naogaon including rural medical practitioners attended the seminar. Among others who delivered speech in the seminar were Md. Najmul Islam, former Joint Secretary of Govt. of Bangladesh, Muhammad Qamarul Huda, Assistant Director of BEDO and Fersoushi Akter, Admin Officer of BEDO and Senior Medical Officer of BEDO Healthcare Center. Some rural medical practitioners also spoke in the meeting.
